We started this trip in Cologne in Germany at the Deutsch-Amerikanische Gesellschaft für Chiropraktik. Glenn and I then flew to the US and I spoke at The Kids Summit in Chicago and then at the Chiropractic Philosophy Forum in Seattle. This was followed by speaking for the Chiropractic Society of Wisconsin, and then at Epic in San Diego. After this, we headed to Utah and presented to the chiropractic association there. At each of these places, we met so many awesome chiros! It makes me very happy about our profession’s future! My final chiropractic presentation was at the Chiro Congress in Texas. This is a Congress with all the leaders of the Chiropractic Associations across the US. As a group, they appear to be thrilled with our work. This is not really surprising as we are providing the profession with a credible, biologically plausible, mechanism of chiropractic adjustments that is backed by a growing body of research! I’m very proud of my research team at NZCC! We may be small but we sure are making big waves in the world arena!
I’m also so proud of our Online Resource Membership where we translate what this science actually means to both the chiropractor with Science Gem videos, and to the public with our Public Animations. Our members currently have access to over 30 amazing Science Gems and 36 Public Animations. And we add to this resource library every month. Our Social Media content is also growing, and I’m about to add another PowerPoint talk shortly. I so love the process of making exciting science understandable and practically relevant to you chiropractors and to the public. Together we can change the way the world views and understands chiropractic by sharing the scientific facts in a user-friendly manner. And on this note, I also want to thank anyone who is a member! Your support by being a member means so much to me and enables me to do so much more!
We ended our trip with two presentations at the largest yearly Neuroscience conference on the planet, the Society for Neuroscience annual conference in San Diego with nearly 30,000 other neuroscientists! It’s so important to keep up to date with the absolute latest neuroscience knowledge and technological advances. Attending this conference recharged me – soaking up all the latest neuroscience – and I left with so many cool ideas for new research projects we could do!
